As the 34th National Day for Helping the Disabled approached, the "Guardian Alliance for Women's Care", a Winona women's care public welfare project, was held on May 17. The event took place at Nanhua Qicai Yi Embroidery Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. that has been designated as a Beautiful Crafts Workshop in Nanhua County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture. During this activity, Botanee Group donated Winona products worth RMB 1.26 million to the Disabled Persons' Federation of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture through the Botanee Foundation and invited dermatologists to provide one-to-one free skin consultations for female embroiderers. Relevant leaders of the Disabled Persons' Federation of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture and the Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture Commission of the Communist Youth League of China, as well as 118 female embroiderers including 108 disabled ones from Nanhua Qicai Yi Embroidery Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., participated in this activity.

In May this year, Winona teamed up with its Yi embroidery partner to introduce a unique gift box titled "Encountering Intangible Cultural Heritage and Seeing More Beauty". This gift box, inspired by Chuxiong Yi embroidery, a traditional intangible cultural heritage of Yunnan, artfully combines the warmth of hand-stitched embroidery with the healing power of love and boldly expresses love with Yi embroidery, characterized by its vibrant patterns. Botanee hoped that this public welfare initiative would help protect the skin health of the embroiderers and contribute to the revitalization of Yi embroidery, an intangible cultural heritage.

As a local enterprise originating and rooted in Yunnan, Botanee began conducting public welfare activities in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture a year ago. Botanee collaborated with Red Cross Society of China Yunnan Branch to implement the "Winona Bright Smiles Commonweal Project" here, actively responding to the Healthy China Initiative (2019-2030). It carried out two free treatment activities at the People's Hospital of Yongren County and the Health Center of Yijiu Town and visited many local areas, including Yijiu Village, Waipula Village, and Zhelin Mango Base to impart professional knowledge on sun protection and skin care to local residents.

The "Red Cross Society-Winona Public Welfare Fund" established in 2021, offers disease relief and product support to patients diagnosed with severe photodamage skin diseases through disease screening. It specifically provides targeted assistance for skin cancer patients, creating a closed loop of public welfare. As of February 2024, four patients from Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture had been rescued, with an expenditure of RMB 12,000. Moreover, the "Red Cross Society-Winona Public Welfare Fund" conducts continuous public welfare donations via the "Winona Bright Smiles Commonweal Project", supporting rural medical care and various public welfare activities such as dermatological screenings, skin cancer rescue initiatives, assistance in establishing Boai First Aid Stations, and emergency disaster relief efforts. Since its establishment, the "Red Cross Society-Winona Public Welfare Fund" has invested RMB 198,000 of public welfare funds in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, establishing 33 Boai First Aid Stations, serving 33 schools across four counties (districts), and benefiting a total of 8,085 individuals.
