The supplied index reports a study that grouped Chinese females by skin tone and sensitivity questionnaire, comparing skin characteristics using instrumental measurements and collecting foundation shade preferences. Results showed higher transepidermal water loss in the sensitive group and differences in hydration, oiliness, redness, and pores across tone groups; self‑reported shade preferences did not always align with software aesthetic ratings.
