The supplied index reports a study published in Scientific Reports that used non-invasive measurements of facial AGEs, skin tone, elasticity, firmness, pores, and hydration to evaluate a Botanee-supplied serum in 7-day and 56-day single-blind trials. After 7 days, facial AGE readings decreased; in the 56-day trial, some improvements in skin tone and hydration were observed, AGEs were lower at days 42 and 56 than at day 14, and AGEs correlated more strongly with skin yellowness, while pore count showed no statistically significant change and improvements in elasticity and firmness were not consistently significant at all time points.

In the 56-day trial, facial AGEs were relatively strongly correlated with skin yellowness (b* value).Correlation between facial AGEs and skin yellowness
