The supplied index reports: The study used micronized Prinsepia utilis seed residue powder, characterized particle size and interfacial adsorption, and measured the antioxidant capacity of Pickering emulsions containing the powder via an in vitro DPPH radical scavenging assay. Mean particle size decreased from approximately 61.49 µm to 20.28 µm; with powder content increased to 3.0 wt%, the emulsion's DPPH scavenging rate rose from about 9.99% to 91.71%.
Micronization reduced the mean particle size of Prinsepia utilis seed residue powder from approximately 61.49 µm to 20.28 µm. The resulting powder adsorbed at the oil–water interface and assisted in forming Pickering emulsions.Particle characterization and interfacial adsorption experiment
Increasing the powder content in the emulsion from 0 to 3.0 wt% raised the DPPH radical scavenging rate from approximately 9.99% to 91.71%, as measured in the in vitro assay system. In vitro DPPH radical scavenging assay (3.0 wt% powder loading)
