The supplied index reports that purslane (Portulaca oleracea) extract was investigated in UV-induced mouse photoageing and UVB-exposed BJ and HaCaT cells, measuring tissue changes, collagen and hyaluronic acid-related indicators, oxidative stress and inflammation. Improvement was observed in cell viability and related damage indicators, and the mechanism was examined via miR-138-5p overexpression, inhibition and Sirt1 intervention.

In UV-induced mouse photoageing and UVB-exposed BJ and HaCaT cells, treatment with purslane extract improved cell viability, collagen and hyaluronic acid-related indicators, and alleviated oxidative stress and inflammation.Index report: cell and animal model experiments
miR-138-5p overexpression/inhibition and Sirt1 intervention experiments indicated that the effects of purslane extract were associated with regulation of the miR-138-5p/Sirt1 axis.Index report: signaling pathway intervention experiments
