The supplied index reports that Prinsepia utilis polysaccharide extract (PURP) and nonapeptide (EQ9) were evaluated in UVA‑exposed reconstructed skin and cell assays. Thirty‑three participants with sensitive skin completed a 14‑day split‑face test using a lotion containing 0.1% PURP and 0.002% EQ9. TEWL decreased by 16.96% from baseline on the test side, and gloss‑related readings increased by 22.32% (Glossymeter) and 35.56% (VISIA) from baseline.
