Yunnan Youth Development Foundation Sets Up Botanee Foundation for Biodiversity Conservation

On April 29, Yunnan Botanee Bio-Technology Group Co., Ltd. donated RMB 1.5 million to Yunnan Youth Development Foundation for the establishment of the Botanee Foundation, which is the first special non-profit foundation focusing on ecological and environmental protection including "biodiversity protection" by teenagers under the Yunnan Project Hope. Zhao Panfeng, Deputy Secretary of Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Zhong Wei, Director of the Office of the Secretary to the Chairman and Assistant to the Chairman of the Group, Tu Fei, Secretary-General of Yunnan Youth Development Foundation, and Chen Erjia, Vice Chair of Alxa SEE Southwest Project Center attended the inauguration ceremony of the foundation.

The Botanee Foundation will pay long-term attention to the educational work of biodiversity conservation by teenagers in Yunnan Province. In the first phase, it is planned to cooperate with Alxa SEE Southwest Project Center to build nature publicity classrooms and environment-friendly public toilets in the reserves in Diqing, Lijiang and other places, and carry out public welfare projects such as compiling and promoting natural observation manual and nature education courseware for Haba Snow Mountain. The implementation of the projects will help local teenagers and tourists learn about biodiversity and cultural diversity, enhance their awareness of and their ability to participate in ecological environmental protection, and promote biodiversity conservation and sustainable ecological development in the province. In addition, the foundation also plans to set up a Hope Class of Senior High School Students in Qujing City and build a Hope Bathhouse in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province through Yunnan Youth Development Foundation. It will continue to focus on "Education Assistance and Talents Cultivation", further strengthen the confidence of teenagers in fighting against difficulties through intellectual guidance, and stimulate their ideals and endogenous power to become talents.

As a home-grown listed company in Yunnan and a leading cosmetics enterprise in China, Botanee pays great attention to shouldering corporate social responsibility and promoting public welfare undertakings while developing itself. It will actively put charity funds into the growth of teenagers in the province through Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and Yunnan Youth Development Foundation.
