Wang Ning Encourages Botanee to Adhere to Technological R&D and Innovation and Build Its Core Competitiveness

On April 12, Wang Ning, Secretary of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, inspected the development of the private economy in Kunming City during an education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He stressed that it is crucial to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee, meticulously consider the realities of our work situation, and resolutely carry out thematic education. It is also critical to identify and address problems through thorough investigation and research, thereby promoting high-quality development.

Wang Ning visited the central factory of Botanee Group to gain insight into the Company's operations, including its production, sales, and technological R&D. He urged private enterprises to steadfastly maintain a proper development direction, grasp opportunities, maintain confidence, and expedite their growth. He encouraged them to prioritize scientific and technological innovation as the driving force, increase investment in R&D, fortify collaborations with research institutions, cultivate and introduce high-end talent, and combine cutting-edge technologies in the world with advantageous resources in Yunnan to build their core competitiveness. He anticipated that private businesses could leverage the geographical advantage of Yunnan and develop products and plan production capacity geared toward the markets in South Asia and Southeast Asia to unlock their development potential.

Wang Ning called for the CPC committees and people's governments at all levels to steadfastly adhere to the “two unswervingly” principle, deeply investigate and solve the difficulties and challenges hindering the development of private enterprises, and provide meticulous service guarantees in every aspect. He emphasized the importance of creating a first-class business environment that allows private enterprises to invest and operate confidently, transforming Yunnan into an attractive hub for the investment and development of private businesses. He added that it is necessary to back and steer enterprises toward implementing distributed photovoltaic power generation on their factory roofs. This strategy not only conserves resources but also aligns with green development practices. It is crucial to pay close attention to and support enterprises' technological R&D, establish and effectively utilize national and provincial laboratories, and bolster enterprises' capabilities to independently innovate and transform and apply their innovative achievements.

Botanee will earnestly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. With the concern and support of the CPC committees and people's governments at all levels, it will honor its social responsibilities by actively pursuing high-quality development. The company will work to advance the upgrade of Yunnan's characteristic plant industry by leveraging technologies, foster the development of the circular economy and green economy, and promote the intensive use of resources, contributing to the building of Healthy China.
