Recently, the 33rd IFSCC Congress concluded in Barcelona, Spain.

Anti-aging research results released by Botanee Group

The theme of the IFSCC Congress is "Rethinking Beauty Science". The four latest research results of Botanee Group released at the Congress all come from the review and innovation of the "Beauty Science".

The following two poster papers focus on the screening and verification of anti-aging active ingredients: Designation of an Anti-aging Complex Targeting Multiple Layers of Human Skin Using In-silico and Multi-dimensional Efficacy Methods and Efficacy of an Anti-ageing Treatment Serum Formulated by Targeting to Multiple Pathways throughout Skin Layers.

On the basis of in-depth research on skin aging mechanism, Botanee Research Institute has obtained MLYAAT-1002, an anti-aging complex targeting multiple layers of human skin, through in-silico bioinformatics simulation and multi-dimensional verification on its own in vitro assessment platform. In addition, clinical tests have been carried out to verify the safety and efficacy of a formula containing this complex on human body.

MLYAAT-1002 is an independently owned, patented superactive complex obtained by Botanee's R&D team after more than 10 years of continuous exploration and 100,000-plus activity screening experiments using dozens of in vitro assessment models.

Another two papers, namely A Biomimicry Peptide Optimization and Its Molecular Target Prediction with Combination of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Approaches and Potent Anti-aging Effect of a Novel Peptide Identified from Natural Regenerative Cell Secretion, result from the joint research of Botanee Research Institute and the AGECODE® R&D Center of Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang. In these two studies, through rapid identification of natural peptides in natural ingredients and calculation using the model of interaction between peptides and protein molecular structures, the researchers predicted and isolated natural peptides with an anti-aging effect, and obtained a brand-new monomeric peptide—nonapeptide-1 through molecular modification. Through high-throughput gene expression, they analyzed the function of nonapeptide-1 in regulating different anti-aging signaling pathways, and carried out multidimensional assessment using an in vitro model to prove its clear efficacy in anti-aging.

Botanee's four high-quality research results cover the research on new mechanisms and pathways of skin problems, the development of active ingredients and the research on molecular targets, the research on innovative formula technology, and the development of new methods for in vitro assessment of safety and efficacy. They reflect the consistent development philosophy of Botanee to create dermatological-grade cosmeceuticals, and have received great attention from Chinese and foreign peers at the IFSCC Congress.

Application practice of Botanee's anti-aging research results

In 2022, Botanee Group has applied MLYAAT-1002 to AOXMED, a high-end scientific anti-aging brand, in an effort to help consumers achieve multi-target anti-aging throughout the three layers: epidermis, dermis and muscle.
