Botanee Foundation Supports Youth Volunteer Activities for Water-Splashing Festival in Xishuangbanna

On April 10, Botanee Foundation, together with Yunnan Youth Development Foundation (YYDF), Publicity Department of the CPC Committee of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, the Communist Youth League of Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical College, and School of Traditional Dai Thai Medicine of West Yunnan University of Applied Sciences, held the "YYDF-Botanee Donation Ceremony" to facilitate the "Volunteer Service Activities for Dai New Year (Water-Splashing Festival 2024) in Xishuangbanna".

As the most significant annual traditional festival of the Dai people and one of the national intangible cultural heritages, the Water-Splashing Festival features a variety of vibrant celebration activities. These include dragon boat racing, setting off of Dai rockets, song and dance performances, "Ganbai" (religious folk gatherings), flying Kongming lanterns, and releasing water lanterns. Youth volunteers from Xishuangbanna will welcome guests with great passion to ensure the service quality and the smooth running of various activities. In response, the Botanee Group donated "WINONA" materials worth over RMB 730,000 to youth volunteers in Xishuangbanna through YYDF. By supporting quality voluntary services, the company effectively enabled young workers in Xishuangbanna to vividly convey "Yunnan stories", further promoting the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, cooperation, and progress". This initiative showcased the spirited and hospitable youth of Yunnan in the new era to guests worldwide, captivating many with the "Yunnan-style life".
