On September 1, 2023, the 10th Dali International Photography Exhibition kicked off at the Leicui Garden in the ancient town of Dali. The Exhibition, with the theme of "Living Somewhere Else: Era of Vision · Love in Dali", aims to promote the artistic, international, innovative, digital, and industrialized development of photography. Over the course of 5 days, a series of events were presented, including photography shows, seminars, award appraisal and competitions, Carnival Art Night, youth community activities, and thematic lectures by famous photography masters. Nearly 800 photography shows from 20 countries and regions were planned, with over 10,000 works introduced to the public for their understanding of the diverse world of photography.

To give the new generation Asian photographers more opportunities to show their ability to create photographic works and enhance their international influence, WINONA · The 3rd Asia Pioneer Photographer Foundation was also launched in Dali, Yunnan in the same period during the Exhibition. Asia, with its long history, rich cultural deposits, and diverse natural landscapes, offers abundant resources and charming conditions for photography. The 3rd Asia Pioneer Photographer Foundation was initiated by Xie Zilong, Vice Chairman of the China Photographers Association, Part-time Vice Chairman of the 10th Committee of the Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Curator of Xie Zilong Photography Museum, with Winona, Botanee Group's dermatological-grade skincare brand working on sensitive skin, acting as a title sponsor. By setting up three major awards—"Photographer of the Year", "Collection of the Year", and "Nomination of the Year", it provided growth incentives for participating photographers and assisted young photographers in pursuing their dreams.
